GVYP Membership

Anyone can attend GVYP events! In fact, we suggest you try a few out before joining our group. For those that have found value in what we do for our community and our members, annual membership is available.

Here’s how membership works:
The membership cost is $35 per year, and there is an initial processing fee of $15. This means $50 for new members. However the $15 processing fee is waived if your business is already a Fruita Area Chamber of Commerce member.

What do I get out of it?
First off, you’ll be supporting a group dedicated to promoting young professionals in our community. But if the feel good, intangible stuff doesn’t sway you to join, this should: members will receive discounts at events. For example, our Breakfast with a CEO Series costs $15 for guests, $10 for members. You’ll also receive one FREE pass worth $15 to an upcoming event, be added to our membership directory and have first opportunity to RSVP for limited space events.

Why’s membership so cheap?
Our steering committee is adamant that we keep costs low for GVYP’s. And our mission is not to be a profit-making venture: That’s what our businesses and careers are for. We want to get as many young professionals involved as possible, and the cost to be a member and attend events shouldn’t be a barrier.
